If you’re graduating from high school this spring, then you’re likely thinking about your future plans. Many of your classmates are likely headed to college, while others are starting their careers either close to home or in another city. The Army

You may be thinking about joining following graduation, and if you’ve applied to the U.S. Military Academy and have been accepted, then you’ll be spending the next four years in West Point, NY. This can mean that you’ll need somewhere to store your belongings while you’re gone, and once you receive your orders for deployment, you may not make a trip back to the Detroit area for some time.

The Marines

The United States Marine Corps was founded on November 10, 1775, and they have been a part of the Department of the Navy since 1834. It is the smallest of the military branches, and if you join, you’ll be sent to Parris Island, SC. After basic training, you will likely be sent to the School of Infantry in Camp Geiger, NC. From there, you could be deployed to any ship around the world to complete your enlistment. The military training and coursework can be very grueling, but when you’re finished, you can serve your country all across the globe.
